Rural Roads Initiative
The Rural Roads Initiative is a program led by the Warren County Commissioners to gather municipal infrastructure projects and bundle them into a single federal grant application to tap into the 2021 Infrastructure Bill which has funding for rural communities. Multiple municipalities will provide the county with projects, which will be vetted by county staff, and the county engineer and a package of projects will be selected to receive preliminaryry engineering and be included in a federal grant application in 2023.

Marketing Taskforce
The Warren County Marketing Taskforce was started in 2017 as a Resolution adopted by the Warren County Board of Commissioners with the general directive to produce a report with recommendations for the County to improve the marketing and promotion of the region and its assets.

Kinzua Regional Marketing Initiative
In 2021, the Warren County Development Association (WCDA) in conjunction with the Commissioners Office, the US Forest Service, and the US Army Corps of Engineers, was awarded a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the purpose of developing a market study and strategic redevelopment plan for the areas around teh Kinzua Dam including Kinzua Beach, the Kinzua Point Information Center, and the Trails at Jakes Rocks. This page serves as a hub for information related to that ongoing project.
